how to make clothing SKUs more visible

By simply adding noon size to your products, you can ensure that your apparel and footwear SKUs are discoverable through the size filter on

Every seller understands the significance of product visibility on Of course, a well-chosen product title and description will help, but they will not suffice if your product is not discovered through its keywords. Customizing your noon product's SKU is one of the simplest ways to improve its ranking (and thus visibility) in search results.

What is 'noon size'?

When customers use the size filter to look for something else, noon size allows them to find your clothing and shoes. It allows you to keep your seller size (physical product size) while adding a standard size that increases your product's visibility.

What is the difference between 'noon size' and 'seller size/variation'?

Seller size/size variation refers to the size listed on your physical product - 38, M, 8, 12 XS, and so on. Your seller size must match what is written on the physical product, or it will be rejected during inbound or returned if it does not meet the customer's expectations.

In the international sizing standard, noon size is the best approximation of your seller size. For example, if you're selling a T-Shirt in size EU 38, the best standard size from the international sizing standard approximation is M.

In a nutshell, your seller size should correspond to the label on your physical product, whereas your noon size should be the closest match in international standard sizes.

Why do I need noon size?

You must have the noon size in order for your product to be found using the size filter on It is critical to understand that noon size is only used for the filter. The customer will still see your seller size when they arrive at the Product Detail Page (PDP). As a result, it is in your best interest to ensure that your noon size and seller size are as physically similar as possible.

For example, if your seller size is 36 but your noon size is XXL, the customer may find your product when searching for it, but they will still see 36 when attempting to add the product to the cart and will most likely not add it due to the incorrect size.

How to choose the correct noon size

Choose the size that best describes your product for the UAE/KSA/AE market based on what size is listed on your physical product. You must essentially convert your physical size to the corresponding international standard sizing.

For instance, if you're selling a t-shirt in size EU 38, the best international standard size approximation is M; however, if you're selling a t-shirt in size S sourced from China (depending on the merchandiser!), that could convert to noon size XS.

Keep in mind that standard sizes may vary depending on the type of product, brand, and department. Women's UK 5.5, for example, is equivalent to EU 38, whereas men's UK 5.5 is equivalent to EU 39. To determine the noon size for your products, you can use the standard sizing conversion tables that are available online.

How do I add the noon size?

You can add the noon size through the Seller Lab when creating variants. Click the noon size button and select a size from the dropdown menu (see above).

If you're creating variants in bulk via the bulk import process, simply include the noon size alongside your seller size. The noon size, like the seller size, should only be added at the variant (child) level and not at the parent level.

And that's it! We hope you found this useful and look forward to seeing your apparel SKUs enriched.
